Common Features [#common-features]

All reports share these capabilities:

* **Date range filtering** — view data for any period (defaults to the last 30 days)
* **Location filtering** — filter by location or compare across locations
* **Export** — download report data for external analysis
* **Visual charts** — interactive charts powered by ApexCharts for quick insights

Filter Options [#filter-options]

Most reports accept a common set of filters that you can combine to narrow your data:

| Filter | Description |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Start date / End date** | The date range for the report. Defaults to the last 30 days. |
| **Activities** | Filter to specific activities by selecting one or more from the list. |
| **Equipment** | Filter to specific equipment items. |
| **Add-ons** | Filter to specific add-on products. |
| **Customers** | Filter to specific customer records. |
| **Sources** | Filter by booking acquisition source (e.g., website, manual, API). |
| **Statuses** | Filter by booking status (confirmed, completed, cancelled, pending). |
| **Min / Max amount** | Filter bookings within a dollar amount range. |
| **Group by** | Control how time-series data is aggregated: `day`, `week`, `month`, or by entity (`activity`, `equipment`). |

Chart Types [#chart-types]

Reports use different chart types depending on the data:

* **Line charts** — trend lines for revenue, bookings, and other metrics over time
* **Bar charts** — horizontal bar comparisons for ranking activities, equipment, or locations
* **Pie / Donut charts** — proportional breakdowns for sources, statuses, payment methods, and customer segments
* **Tables** — detailed tabular data with sorting for drill-down analysis

Additional Report Types [#additional-report-types]

Beyond the four core reports linked above, Resytech includes several specialized reports accessible from **Dashboard > Reports**:

Customer Analytics [#customer-analytics]

Track customer behavior and segmentation. Key metrics include total customers, new vs. returning customers, customer lifetime value, retention rate, churn rate, average booking frequency, and repeat purchase rate. Includes customer segmentation, source attribution, top customer rankings, and cohort retention analysis. See [View customer analytics](/how-to/reporting/view-customer-analytics).

Location Comparison [#location-comparison]

Compare performance across all your locations side by side. View total bookings, revenue, and customer count per location, with period-over-period trend data for both revenue and booking volume. See [Compare locations](/how-to/reporting/compare-locations).

Year-over-Year [#year-over-year]

Overlay multiple years of data on a single chart to identify seasonal patterns and growth trends. Tracks four metrics across tabs: bookings created, bookings serviced, revenue, and new customers. Each metric is broken down by month with color-coded year lines. Includes calculated growth rates comparing each month to the same month in the prior year. See [Use year-over-year reports](/how-to/reporting/use-year-over-year-reports).

4-4-5 Fiscal Calendar [#4-4-5-fiscal-calendar]

Analyze your business using 4-4-5 fiscal periods instead of calendar months. The fiscal year is divided into 12 periods across 4 quarters, following a 4-week, 4-week, 5-week pattern. Configure your fiscal year start month (any month), select the fiscal year, and optionally include prior-year comparison. Shows revenue and booking count per period, quarter summaries, and year-over-year growth percentages. Handles 53rd-week years automatically. See [Understand fiscal reports](/how-to/reporting/understand-fiscal-reports).

Operations [#operations]

A comprehensive operational dashboard covering cart conversion, cancellation analytics, payment methods, revenue by line item type, accounts receivable aging, gift card liability, and coupon effectiveness. See [Review operations metrics](/how-to/reporting/review-operations-metrics).
