# Guests Report (/docs/reporting/guests)



The **Guests Report** answers the "butts on seats" question: how many people did you actually serve in a given period? Where the other reports count bookings and dollars, this one counts humans.

Navigate to **Reports > Operations > Guests** in the sidebar.

How guests are counted [#how-guests-are-counted]

Each booking's headcount uses the most accurate data available, in priority order:

1. **Demographics** — if the booking has manifest demographic counts (e.g., 2 Adults + 3 Children), those are summed.
2. **Equipment occupancy** — otherwise, the count is equipment quantity × the equipment's default occupancy, plus any add-ons configured to **count as a guest** (e.g., an "Extra Passenger" add-on).

Date window [#date-window]

The report windows on the booking's **service day** — the day the booking happens — not the day it was created. A booking made in June for a July 4th trip counts under July. This is deliberate: operators read this report as "how many people came in that period."

Status filter [#status-filter]

By default the report counts **confirmed bookings only** — people who actually came. Use the **Booking Status** chips to widen the view to pending, draft, or canceled bookings (e.g., to measure how many guests you *would* have served without cancellations).
