# Revenue Reports (/docs/reporting/revenue)



Overview [#overview]

The revenue report gives you a complete picture of your business income. Access it from **Dashboard > Reports > Revenue**.

Summary Metrics [#summary-metrics]

The top of the report displays key summary cards for the selected date range:

| Metric                  | Description                                                 |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Total Revenue**       | Combined revenue from all bookings in the period            |
| **Gross Revenue**       | Revenue before refunds and discounts                        |
| **Net Revenue**         | Revenue after subtracting refunds and discounts             |
| **Total Bookings**      | Number of bookings that generated revenue                   |
| **Average Order Value** | Total revenue divided by total bookings                     |
| **Future Revenue**      | Expected revenue from confirmed and pending future bookings |
| **Refund Amount**       | Total refunds issued during the period                      |
| **Discount Amount**     | Total value of coupons and discounts applied                |

Revenue by Period [#revenue-by-period]

* Daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly breakdowns (controlled by the **Group by** filter)
* Displayed as a **line chart** with smooth trend curves
* Each data point shows the period label, revenue total, and booking count
* Use this view to spot growth trends, seasonal dips, and revenue spikes

Revenue by Activity [#revenue-by-activity]

* Which activities generate the most revenue
* Shows revenue and booking count per activity
* Useful for identifying your highest-grossing offerings and calculating revenue per booking

Revenue by Equipment [#revenue-by-equipment]

* Rental revenue per equipment item
* Shows revenue and rental count for each piece of equipment
* Helps you identify your best-performing rental inventory

Revenue by Source [#revenue-by-source]

* Where your paying customers come from (e.g., website, manual entry, API integrations)
* Revenue and booking count attributed to each acquisition channel
* Displayed as a **pie chart** with color-coded source segments
* Helps you understand which marketing channels deliver the best ROI

Payment Method Distribution [#payment-method-distribution]

The revenue report also includes a breakdown of payment methods used:

* **Payment method** — name of the method (credit card, cash, gift card, etc.)
* **Transaction count** — number of transactions using this method
* **Revenue** — total revenue collected through this method
* **Percentage** — share of total transactions

Filters [#filters]

The revenue report supports the full set of common filters:

* **Date range** — start and end dates for the reporting period
* **Activities** — narrow to revenue from specific activities
* **Equipment** — narrow to revenue from specific equipment rentals
* **Add-ons** — narrow to revenue from specific add-on products
* **Sources** — filter by booking source
* **Statuses** — filter by booking status
* **Min / Max amount** — filter to bookings within a dollar range
* **Group by** — aggregate time-series data by `day`, `week`, or `month`
