Checkout Customization
Set Activity Display Order
How to reorder activities and equipment in the Resytech checkout using drag-and-drop or arrow controls.
By default, activities and equipment appear in the checkout in the order they were created. Use the Custom Ordering tab to rearrange them so your most popular or highest-margin offerings appear first.
Before you begin
- You need at least one published activity or one enabled equipment item.
- You need access to the Resytech Dashboard with permission to edit checkout settings.
Reorder activities
- Navigate to Dashboard > Checkout Settings.
- Select the Custom Ordering tab from the sidebar.
- The Activities tab is selected by default. You see a list of all published activities with their current position numbers.
- Rearrange the list using either method:
- Drag and drop -- click and hold the grip handle on the left side of any row, then drag it to the desired position.
- Arrow buttons -- click the up or down chevron buttons on the right side of a row to move it one position.
- Click Save Changes at the top of the page.
Reorder equipment
- On the Custom Ordering tab, click the Equipment tab button.
- The list shows all enabled equipment items with their current position numbers.
- Rearrange using drag-and-drop or the arrow buttons.
- Click Save Changes.
Reset to default order
Click the Reset to Default Order button below the list to discard your custom ordering and return to the system default (creation order). This reset is not saved until you click Save Changes.
How ordering works
- The custom order applies to the activity selector page (when the activity selector is enabled) and to equipment selection within the booking flow.
- Only published activities and enabled equipment appear in the ordering list. If you publish a new activity later, it is automatically appended to the end of the custom order.
- If you delete or unpublish an activity, it is silently removed from the stored order. The remaining items keep their relative positions.
Tips
- Put your best-seller first. Customers are more likely to book the first item they see. Lead with your highest-demand or highest-margin offering.
- Group similar items. If you offer multiple kayak types, keep them together so customers can compare easily.
- Reorder after seasonal changes. Swap your primary activity at the start of each season to match what customers are most likely looking for.
