View Customer History

How to view a customer's full profile including booking history, guest appearances, communication logs, survey responses, and lifetime analytics in Resytech.

The customer detail page gives you a 360-degree view of a customer's relationship with your business. Use it to review booking history, check communication logs, see survey feedback, and understand lifetime value -- all in one place.

Opening the customer detail page

  1. Navigate to CRM > Customers.
  2. Click the customer's name or avatar in the list, or click the eye icon in the actions column.
  3. The customer detail page loads with all associated data.

Alternatively, use the global search to find a customer by name or email, then click the result to go directly to their profile.

Customer analytics panel

The left column of the detail page shows key metrics calculated from the customer's confirmed bookings:

MetricDescription
Total BookingsThe number of confirmed bookings attributed to this customer.
Total SpentThe sum of the grand total across all confirmed bookings.
Lifetime ValueThe customer lifetime value, currently calculated as the total spent across all confirmed bookings.
Last BookingThe date of the most recent confirmed booking.
Customer SinceThe date the customer record was created.

These metrics update automatically as new bookings are created or confirmed.

Customer information panel

The right column shows the customer's stored profile data:

  • Email Addresses -- all emails on file.
  • Phone Numbers -- all phone numbers on file, formatted with country code.
  • Date of Birth -- if provided.
  • Address -- street, city, state, ZIP, and country if provided.
  • Notes -- any free-text notes your team has added.

Click Edit in the header to update any of these fields. The edit modal is the same form used during customer creation, pre-populated with the current values.

Booking history

The Booking History section lists all bookings where this customer was the primary booker. Each entry shows:

  • Confirmation code
  • Activity name
  • Date and time
  • Booking status (confirmed, pending, cancelled, completed, no-show)
  • Grand total

Click a booking row to navigate to the full booking detail page.

Guest bookings

The Guest Bookings section lists bookings where this customer appeared as a named guest (but was not the primary booker). Each entry shows:

FieldDescription
Confirmation CodeThe booking's confirmation code.
DateThe booking date.
Activity NameWhich activity the booking was for.
StatusThe booking's current status.
DemographicThe demographic category assigned to this guest on the booking (e.g., "Adult", "Child"), if applicable.

This is useful for understanding the full scope of a customer's participation, even when someone else made the reservation.

Communication logs

The Communication Logs section shows a timeline of all automated and manual communications with this customer. Logs are matched by email address, phone number, or customer reference ID.

Each entry includes the communication date, channel (email, SMS, etc.), recipient, and content. Logs are sorted with the most recent first.

Communication logs are generated automatically by the system when transactional emails or SMS messages are sent (booking confirmations, reminders, etc.).

Survey responses

The Survey Responses section shows any survey submissions linked to this customer. Each entry includes:

FieldDescription
Survey NameThe name of the survey that was submitted.
Overall RatingThe customer's overall rating score.
Submitted AtWhen the survey was completed.
BookingThe booking the survey was associated with, if any.

Editing from the detail page

  1. Click Edit in the page header.
  2. Update any fields in the modal.
  3. Click Update Customer to save.

The page automatically reloads with the updated data.

Tips

  • Multiple data sources load in parallel. The detail page fetches customer info, communication logs, bookings, guest bookings, and surveys simultaneously for fast loading.
  • Booking totals include only confirmed bookings. Cancelled or pending bookings do not count toward the Total Bookings, Total Spent, or Lifetime Value metrics.
  • Guest bookings vs. primary bookings are separate lists. A customer who both books and is listed as a guest on someone else's booking will appear in both sections.
  • Use the Back to Customers button to return to the filtered/searched customer list without losing your place.
