Show guest reviews on your website
Pick your best post-booking survey reviews to show in your website's testimonials section.
When to use this
- You send post-booking surveys and want the best responses on your website.
- Your home page testimonials section is empty and you want to fill it.
You need surveys set up and some responses first. See Create a survey. Reviews can be shown when they are highly rated (4 or 5 out of 5, or the same share on a 3-star or 10-star survey) and include a written answer.
Steps
- Go to Marketing > Website and open Template settings > Guest reviews.
- Read through the list. Each review shows its rating, date, the words that would be quoted and the name it would be shown with. The quote is the answer to your testimonial question if your survey has one; answers about what could be better are never quoted.
- Tick Show on website on each review you want to use.
- Check Shown as. Guests are shown as first name and last initial by default, such as "Ana S.". Type something else, such as "The Smith family", if you prefer.
Your choices appear in the preview straight away and on your live website within about a minute. You don't need to publish.
Where reviews appear
In every Testimonials section on your website, newest first, after any quotes you typed into that section yourself. The home page has one in both templates. To add one to another page, use Customize layout and add Testimonials from the toolbox. Each section shows up to the number set in its Maximum quotes property (3 by default).
To stop showing a review, untick Show on website.
