Website Plus

An optional monthly plan for your Resytech website that hides "Powered by Resytech" and unlocks the Website Plus templates.

Your Resytech website is free, with every feature on this site's other pages. Website Plus is an optional plan for one website that adds two things:

  • No "Powered by Resytech". The line at the bottom of every page is hidden.
  • Website Plus templates. Four templates with their own page layouts, section styles, fonts and gentle motion, not just different colours:
    • Riviera: quiet luxury. Elegant serif type, generous space and large photography. Made for yacht charters, private tours and high-end experiences.
    • Ridgeline: built for the backcountry. Condensed capitals, a photo slideshow and trips laid out like a route card. Made for guided trips, fishing and outdoor adventures.
    • Gazette: a story worth telling. Warm paper tones, newspaper type, drop caps and activity pages laid out like an article. Made for walking, food and history tours.
    • Volt: loud and fun. Oversized type, bold colour blocks, outlined cards and playful motion. Made for rentals, watersports and younger crowds.

Website Plus is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay.

Who can upgrade

Anyone who can open the website editor can see whether the website has Website Plus. Upgrading and managing billing spend your company's money, so they need the Company Settings: manage permission. Without it, the panel says that an account owner can upgrade.

Upgrading

  1. Go to Marketing > Website and open Template settings > Website Plus.
  2. Click Upgrade monthly or Upgrade yearly. Your latest edits are saved first.
  3. Stripe's secure checkout opens in the same tab. Enter your payment details. You can add your business's tax ID, such as a VAT number, for your invoices.
  4. You come back to the website editor. It shows Confirming your payment with Stripe for a few seconds, then Website Plus is on.

"Powered by Resytech" is hidden as soon as Website Plus starts, and your live website shows the change within about a minute. You don't need to publish. To show the line again, untick Hide "Powered by Resytech" in the same panel.

The plan belongs to the website's location. Each location's website has its own plan.

Using a Website Plus template

You can build with a Website Plus template before you upgrade. Choose one from Website Plus templates when you create your website, or with Change template later. Edit it and preview it as much as you like.

Publishing it needs Website Plus. Without it, Publish explains that the template is a Website Plus template and offers See Website Plus and Change template. Your draft is saved either way.

Website Plus templates also add their own section styles, such as a photo slideshow, a scrolling strip of reviews or a numbered list of activities. See Section styles.

Managing billing

Manage billing in the Website Plus panel opens Stripe's billing page, where you can:

  • update your card;
  • see and download your invoices;
  • switch between monthly and yearly billing;
  • cancel.

The panel shows when Website Plus renews. After you cancel, it shows the date Website Plus ends. Everything keeps working until that date.

If a payment fails

The panel shows Your last Website Plus payment didn't go through. Website Plus keeps working while Stripe tries the payment again, and Stripe emails you about it. Update your card in Manage billing. If every retry fails, Website Plus ends.

When Website Plus ends

Nothing goes offline:

  • "Powered by Resytech" shows again within about a minute.
  • A website on a free template carries on as before.
  • A website on a Website Plus template stays live as you last published it. To publish changes, upgrade again or switch to a free template.

Deleting your website

Website Plus stays with the location when you delete the website, ready for a new one. Deleting doesn't stop the payments: to stop paying, cancel in Manage billing first.
