Getting Started

Adding Locations

Add your first location in Resytech — the physical place where your business operates.

Every business in Resytech needs at least one location. A location represents a physical place where you operate — your marina, rental shop, tour departure point, or adventure center. Activities, equipment, scheduling, and pricing are all tied to a specific location.

Create Your First Location

  1. Click Location in the top navigation to open your location settings
  2. On the General tab, fill in:
    • Name — a display name for this location (e.g., "Downtown Marina", "Main Office")
    • Address — the physical address, used for maps and customer directions
    • Timezone — critical for correct scheduling and availability. Make sure this is accurate.
    • Contact details — phone and email for this specific location

Essential Location Settings

The Location settings page has several tabs. Here are the ones to configure now:

General Tab

Set your operating hours — these define when customers can book activities and when time slots are available.

Operations Blackout Tab

Block specific dates when the location is closed — holidays, maintenance days, or private events. These blackouts apply across all activities at this location.

Individual activities can also have their own blackout dates. Location-level blackouts are for days when the entire location is closed.

Facilitators Tab

If you have guides, instructors, or staff who run activities, add them here. Facilitators can be assigned to specific activities later.

Other Tabs

You can explore these later:

  • Checkout — customizes the customer-facing booking page (covered in Checkout Setup)
  • Cart Recovery — sends automated emails when customers abandon their cart
  • Daily Summary — sends daily booking summary emails to managers

If you run multiple locations, use the location switcher in the top navigation bar to switch between them. Each location has independent settings. See Multi-Location Management for details.

What's Next

With your location set up, it's time to understand how activities and equipment work together — this is the most important concept to get right before creating your first bookable product.
