Live Events

Sell tickets to concerts, shows, and one-off events on Resyevents.

Live Events is Resytech's ticketing product for shows, concerts, parties, and other one-off events. Organizers create events in the dashboard and publish them to Resyevents, the public storefront where buyers pick tickets, pay, and receive QR tickets by email.

It is a separate line of business from activity bookings. Events do not use the scheduling engine, equipment, or facilitators. An event is a start time, an end time, a pool of tickets, and an order pipeline of its own.

How It Fits Together

PieceWhat it does
VenueA reusable profile (address, time zone, logo, photos, links) with its own public page. Optional, but it saves retyping and gives every event a venue page to link to.
EventThe show itself: name, description, dates, poster, and the venue it happens at.
Ticket typesThe tiers on sale, each with a price, capacity, and per-order limits.
Add-onsOptional extras (drink packages, merchandise) sold alongside tickets.
StorefrontThe public page at resyevents.com/e/{slug} where buyers actually purchase.
OrdersWhat a buyer bought, what they paid, and the tickets that were issued.

The Lifecycle of an Event

  1. Draft. Create the event, add ticket types and add-ons. Nothing is public yet, and you can change anything.
  2. Publish. Resytech checks that the event is sellable (see Publishing) and puts it live at its public link.
  3. On sale. Buyers hold tickets while they check out, pay by card, and receive tickets by email.
  4. At the door. Staff scan each ticket's QR code to admit guests.
  5. After. Review sales and the attendee list, refund individual orders, or cancel the event.

Before You Can Sell

Two things must be true before an event can go live:

  • Your organization is set up as an event organizer and your staff have the events permission.
  • Stripe payouts are connected and charges are enabled for your organization, so money can reach your account. See Fees and Payouts.
