Add Booking Notes

How to create, edit, and delete internal notes on a booking in Resytech.

Booking notes are internal records attached to a booking that are visible only to your team. Use notes to record special requests, document customer interactions, log issues, or leave instructions for other staff members. Notes are not visible to customers.

Viewing notes

  1. Go to Bookings and open the booking.
  2. Click the Notes tab.

Notes are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first). Each note shows:

Updated AtWhen the note was last modified (if edited).

Creating a note

  1. Open the booking and go to the Notes tab.
  2. Type your note in the text input area.
  3. Click Add Note.

The note is saved immediately and attributed to your user account. It appears at the top of the notes list.

Editing a note

  1. On the Notes tab, find the note you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit button on the note card.
  3. Modify the content.
  4. Click Save.

The note's Updated At timestamp is refreshed. The original author attribution is preserved.

Deleting a note

  1. On the Notes tab, find the note you want to remove.
  2. Click the Delete button on the note card.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleted notes are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Tips

  • Notes are for internal use only. Customers never see booking notes. If you need to communicate with the customer, use the confirmation email or invoice email features.
  • Use notes for handoff context. If a different team member will be handling the booking on the day of, leave a note with relevant details (special accommodations, equipment preferences, arrival instructions).
  • Notes persist through status changes. Notes are not affected when you change, reschedule, or cancel a booking. They remain attached to the booking permanently (unless manually deleted).
  • The Notes tab appears in the booking header menu. Every booking always has a Notes tab, regardless of the booking's status or configuration.
