Website Report

Visits, Book Now clicks and bookings from your Resytech website, per day and per page.

The Website Report shows how your Resytech website is doing: how many pages visitors opened, how often they clicked Book Now, and how many bookings came from it.

Navigate to Reports > Customers > Website in the sidebar. The report covers the location you are viewing. If that location has no website yet, the page links you to Marketing > Website to set one up.

Date range

Pick 7 days, 30 days (the default), 90 days or 12 months. Each range ends today. Days follow your location's time zone, so a visit at 11pm counts on the day it happened where you are.

How visits are counted

Your website counts a visit each time one of its pages is opened, and a Book Now click each time a Book Now button is clicked. It keeps only a daily total for each page. It does not use cookies and records nothing about the visitor: no address, device or location. So it doesn't depend on the cookie notice: visits count whether or not a visitor accepts tracking.

Because nothing identifies a visitor, the report counts visits, not people. Someone who opens three pages counts as three visits.

These are not counted:

  • previews, the editor and template thumbnails,
  • pages that don't exist on your website,
  • visits before your website was published.

For visitor-level detail (where visitors came from, returning visitors, campaigns), add Google Analytics in Search and tracking.

How website bookings are counted

A booking counts as a website booking when the customer opened the booking window from Book Now on your published website, at its current address, and finished checkout there. Bookings taken in the dashboard, at the POS, through an OTA or from your booking page are not website bookings. Bookings made before this report was added are not counted either.

The booking's day is the day it was made, not the day of the trip.
