Manage Activity Media

How to upload, reorder, and delete photos for an activity in Resytech.

Use this guide to add photos and images to your activity listing. Media appears on your booking website's checkout page and helps customers understand what to expect. The first image in the list is used as the activity's thumbnail in activity listings and cards.

Upload Images

  1. Go to Activities > [Activity Name] > Settings > Media.
  2. Drag and drop image files into the upload area, or click the area to browse and select files.
  3. Wait for the upload to complete. A progress indicator shows while files are being uploaded.

You can upload multiple images at once. There is a total file size limit per upload batch.

Supported Formats

Standard image formats are supported, including JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Use high-quality images that represent your activity well.

Reorder Images

The order of images matters -- the first image becomes the activity's main thumbnail shown in listings, cards, and the booking calendar.

  1. In the Media editor, click and drag an image card to a new position.
  2. Drop it where you want it in the sequence.
  3. Click Save Order to persist the new arrangement.

The reordering is done via drag-and-drop. The first (leftmost/topmost) image is the primary image.

Delete an Image

  1. Click on an image to select it or open its detail view.
  2. Click the Delete button.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Deleted images are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Tips

  • Upload your best, most representative photo as the first image. This is the one customers see first in activity listings and search results.
  • Use multiple images to showcase different aspects of the experience -- the equipment, the scenery, happy customers (with permission), and any unique features.
  • Optimize images for web before uploading. Large, uncompressed photos slow down page load times. Aim for images under 2 MB each.
  • If you clone an activity, media is not copied. You need to upload images separately for each activity.
  • Thumbnails are generated automatically from your uploaded images for use in smaller display contexts like activity cards and calendar views.
