Track Equipment Performance

How to use the equipment dashboard to monitor rental counts, revenue, booking sources, and upcoming reservations.

Each equipment item has a built-in performance dashboard that gives you a 30-day snapshot of how that item is performing. Use it to identify your most popular equipment, track revenue trends, and see upcoming reservations at a glance.

Access the equipment dashboard

  1. In the sidebar, click Equipment.
  2. Select the equipment item you want to review.
  3. The Dashboard tab shows the performance overview.

Dashboard metrics

The equipment dashboard displays the following data for the last 30 days:

Upcoming reservations

The dashboard also shows up to 10 upcoming reservations for the next 30 days, including:

FieldDescription
Booking TitleThe confirmation code or booking reference.
Date & TimeThe scheduled start and end time of the booking.
DurationLength of the booking in minutes.
StatusWhether the booking is confirmed (green) or pending (yellow).
Customer NameThe name of the customer who made the booking.
Customer EmailThe customer's email address, if available.
Grand TotalThe total amount for the booking (not just the equipment portion).

How to use dashboard data

Compare Rentals Created across your equipment items. Items with consistently high rental counts are your best performers. Consider acquiring more units.

Spot underperformers

Equipment with low or zero rentals over 30 days may need better photos, a lower price, or reassignment to a more popular activity.

Optimize pricing

If an item has high demand (many rentals) but low revenue, consider increasing the additional price. If an item has low demand, try reducing the price or bundling it with a popular add-on.

Plan for peak periods

Use the Revenue Over Time and Rentals Over Time charts to identify your busiest days. Staff accordingly and ensure you have enough inventory.

Understand your channels

The Booking Sources chart shows whether most equipment rentals come from your online booking page, dashboard (manual bookings), or POS. Use this to focus marketing efforts on your strongest channels.

Tips

  • Dashboard data is read-only. It reflects the last 30 days automatically and cannot be filtered to a custom date range.
  • Revenue only counts confirmed bookings. Cancelled bookings do not contribute to revenue metrics, ensuring an accurate financial picture.
  • Use this alongside the main analytics. The equipment dashboard focuses on a single item. For location-wide reporting, use the Reporting section.
  • Check upcoming reservations daily to prepare equipment for scheduled rentals and ensure nothing is double-booked or needs maintenance.
